Congenital epulis

A congenital gingival tumor that occurs along the alveolar ridge of the maxilla. It usually affects female infants. The histogenesis is unknown. Morphologically, it is characterized by the presence of large cells with eosinophilic granular cytoplasm. Complete surgical resection is curative.
