Cream may soothe rash caused by cancer drugs

NCT ID NCT06358677

First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests if a tretinoin cream can help reduce the acne-like rash that often appears on the face during treatment with certain cancer drugs (panitumumab or cetuximab). About 25 adults with advanced solid tumors will join. Each person will apply tretinoin to one side of their face and a placebo to the other, so researchers can compare the difference. The goal is to see if the cream can ease this side effect without affecting cancer treatment.
