NCT ID NCT07146074

First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving radiation therapy early to people with cancer that has spread to the bones (but who have no or very mild pain) can prevent future bone complications like fractures or spinal cord pressure. About 120 participants will be randomly assigned to either standard care (medication or observation) or standard care plus early radiation. Researchers will track who develops bone problems, needs hospitalization, or has changes in quality of life over two years.
