First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether medical hypnosis can help reduce anxiety in people with solid tumors who are getting radiation therapy. About 45 moderately to very anxious patients will either listen to relaxing music alone or combine it with hypnosis during their sessions. The goal is to see if hypnosis leads to a meaningful drop in anxiety scores over the course of treatment.
