Targeted PET scan spots cancer protein, guiding treatment

NCT ID NCT05436093

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new PET scan that uses a special tracer to find a protein called CLDN18.2 on solid tumors. The goal is to see if this scan can help identify which patients might benefit from treatments that target this protein. About 15 adults with solid tumors will receive the tracer and have a PET/CT scan to measure how much the tumors take it up.
