Can a blood test spot cancer before symptoms start?

NCT ID NCT03869814

First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study is developing a blood test that looks for tiny signals from cancer cells, such as changes in DNA, to find multiple types of cancer early. Researchers will compare blood samples from 20,000 people with and without cancer to see if the test can accurately detect cancer and identify where it started. The goal is to create a simple, non-invasive screening tool that could catch cancer sooner.
