New registry tracks PEF ablation in 1,000 patients
NCT ID NCT05851430
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This observational registry will follow 1,000 people who receive pulsed electric field (PEF) ablation for soft tissue lesions. The goal is to see how doctors use the device in everyday practice and to monitor safety. Participants will be treated per standard care and followed for outcomes.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Pulsed electric field (PEF) ablation device
What this could lead to
If successful, this registry could provide real-world data on how well PEF ablation works and its safety, potentially guiding better use of this technology for soft tissue lesions.
What could go wrong
This is an observational registry, not a controlled trial, so results may be influenced by differences in patient care. It does not test a new treatment but rather collects existing practice data.
