Simple gloves and boots may shield cancer patients from chemo nerve pain
NCT ID NCT07142304
First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether special gloves and boots that apply gentle pressure can prevent nerve damage in the hands and feet caused by chemotherapy. The pressure reduces how much chemo reaches the nerves, potentially protecting them. About 142 adults with solid tumors receiving specific chemo drugs will be followed for 12 weeks to see if they have fewer nerve symptoms.
