New lattice radiation aims to shrink bulky tumors and ease pain

Summary

This study tests a special type of radiation called lattice therapy for people with large, hard-to-treat tumors. The goal is to see if it can shrink tumors better than standard radiation and help people feel better. About 37 adults with advanced solid tumors will receive this treatment and be followed for side effects and quality of life.
