New PET tracer could sharpen cancer detection

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new radioactive tracer called RT01-89Zr that attaches to a protein found on many solid tumors. The goal is to see if it is safe and can make tumors show up more clearly on PET/CT scans. Ten adults with confirmed solid tumors will receive the tracer and be monitored for side effects and imaging quality.
