Summary

This Phase I trial is testing a new drug called BL-M17D1 in 20 people with advanced breast cancer (HER2-positive or negative) or other solid tumors that have spread. The main goals are to check the drug's safety, find the right dose, and see early signs of whether it shrinks tumors. Participants receive the drug by IV every 3 weeks.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

BL-M17D1 (a drug given by IV infusion every 3 weeks)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could point toward a new treatment option for advanced breast cancer and other solid tumors that have not responded to standard therapies.

What could go wrong

This is a very early Phase I trial with only 20 participants, so it is primarily testing safety and dosing. The drug may not prove effective, and side effects could be significant.
