New pill targets tough cancers with BRCA gene flaws

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new drug called FORX-428 in people with advanced solid tumors that have BRCA1/2 mutations or other DNA repair problems. The main goals are to find a safe dose and check for side effects. About 40 adults whose cancer has worsened after standard treatment will take the drug, and researchers will also watch for any tumor shrinkage.
