New drug duo takes on advanced cancers
NCT ID NCT07131202
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a new drug called FL115 combined with an immunotherapy (PD-1 blocker) in 130 people with advanced solid tumors that have not responded to standard treatments. The trial has two phases: first to find the safest dose, then to see how well the combo works against different tumor types. Participants receive the drugs by IV until their disease gets worse or side effects become too severe.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
FL115 combined with sintilimab (a PD-1 inhibitor)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could point toward a new combination treatment option for people with advanced solid tumors who have run out of standard therapies.
What could go wrong
This is an early-phase trial with only 130 participants, so results may not apply to all patients. The combination may cause side effects or fail to shrink tumors.
