First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether specially trained nurses can help children with cancer and their families by starting conversations about palliative care early. About 120 children recently diagnosed with cancer will be randomly assigned to either receive these nurse-led talks or standard care. The goal is to see if the program improves the child's quality of life over six months.
