New day hospital aims to ease transition for young cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT05858424

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a one-day hospital visit that includes medical, psychological, and social support can help teens and young adults (ages 15-25) feel better after finishing cancer treatment. About 214 participants who have completed treatment for a solid tumor or lymphoma will be randomly assigned to receive this extra support or standard follow-up. The goal is to see if this approach improves their emotional well-being during the first year after treatment.
