Summary

This study follows about 3,000 adults in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to learn how common heart disease risk factors like high blood pressure, diabetes, and smoking are, and how they lead to heart attacks, strokes, and other heart problems. Researchers will track participants for about 7 years, collecting health information and samples. The goal is to better understand and prevent heart disease in Haiti.
