Summary
This study investigates whether the types and behavior of certain immune cells (neutrophils and monocytes) in the blood are linked to how the heart repairs itself after a heart attack. Researchers will follow 50 adults who have had a severe type of heart attack and are scheduled for emergency angioplasty. Using MRI scans, they will measure early scar formation and track major heart events to see if immune cell patterns can predict healing outcomes.
