First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study aims to understand how different parts of the brain's prefrontal cortex control behaviors in people with major depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, or schizophrenia. Participants will receive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) at random brain locations and complete various behavioral tests and questionnaires. The goal is to link specific brain circuits to specific behaviors, not to treat the conditions directly.
