New study tests lifestyle program to boost heart health in black men

Summary

This study tests a 24-week community program called Black Impact designed to improve heart health and reduce stress in Black men. Participants will do weekly physical activity and health education sessions with a coach. The goal is to see if the program helps lower heart disease risk and understand how it works. About 340 Black men in Columbus, Ohio, with below-average heart health will take part.
