Summary
This study is testing whether low-intensity focused ultrasound (LIFUS) can safely change brain activity in people with conditions like Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, epilepsy, or substance abuse disorder. Researchers will measure brain responses and any changes in movement or behavior after the ultrasound, compared to a fake treatment. The goal is to learn if this non-invasive approach could one day help treat these disorders.
