Summary
This study tested whether a fully automated digital program could help people with prediabetes lose weight and lower blood sugar as well as a program with a human coach. 368 adults with prediabetes and overweight took part. The goal was to see if the digital approach is a cost-effective way to reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
