New imaging tracer could light up tumors for better detection

NCT ID NCT06645808

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a new radioactive imaging agent can safely and clearly show tumors in people with many types of solid cancers. About 32 adults will receive a single injection of the agent and then have PET/CT scans to see where it goes in the body. The goal is to learn how the agent spreads and whether it can help detect tumors, not to treat the cancer.
