Doctors test custom cancer vaccine to train immune system

NCT ID NCT06324240

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing a new, personalized vaccine for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The vaccine is custom-made from a piece of a patient's own tumor and is designed to teach their immune system to recognize and attack the cancer. Researchers are studying the vaccine alone and combined with standard immunotherapy drugs to see if it is safe and can help prevent the cancer from returning or spreading.
