First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to give radiation therapy to young women (ages 18-50) with cancers in the pelvic area, such as uterine or rectal cancer. The goal is to see if doctors can adjust the radiation each day to avoid hitting the ovaries, which could help preserve fertility and hormone function. Ten participants will have their treatment plans analyzed to check if this approach is possible.
