First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study uses special eye cameras to take detailed pictures of the back of the eye in 2000 adults with and without brain diseases like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and multiple sclerosis. The goal is to find changes in the eye that might signal early signs of these conditions. No treatment is given—just non-invasive imaging to learn more about how the eye and brain are connected.
