First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether foot-ankle exercises and walking exercises can reduce foot nerve pain, stress, and improve quality of life in people with type 2 diabetes. 375 adults with diabetes were split into three groups: foot-ankle exercises, walking exercises, or standard care. They followed the programs for 12 weeks, and researchers measured changes in nerve function, stress, blood sugar, blood pressure, and body mass index at 6 and 12 weeks.
