Chile's pain puzzle: major study tracks how hurt and stress connect
NCT ID NCT06353100
Summary
This study followed over 2,300 adults in Chile for one year to understand how common chronic pain is and how it connects to mental health, loneliness, and work stress. Researchers called participants to track their pain levels, mood, sleep, and daily life impact over 12 months. The goal was to gather information to better understand the problem, not to test a new treatment.
