First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how stopping cannabis use for 28 days changes brain activity and memory in people with psychosis and in cannabis users without psychosis. Participants are randomly assigned to either quit cannabis or continue using, and undergo brain scans before and after the 28-day period. The goal is to understand the brain processes behind cannabis-related thinking problems, which could lead to better treatments.
