First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026

Summary

This study in Côte d'Ivoire tests whether giving mothers a cash reward for breastfeeding until their child is 24 months old increases breastfeeding rates and improves health. About 1040 mothers and their babies will take part. One group gets the cash incentive plus education, while the other gets only education. Researchers will track breastfeeding duration, child growth, infections, and maternal well-being.
