Summary
This study is testing whether a one-year course of a dietary supplement called spermidine can help older adults with heart disease. Spermidine is a natural compound found in foods like whole grains and nuts. Researchers will check if it improves heart function, muscle mass, physical fitness, and reduces body-wide inflammation compared to a placebo.
