First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding regular physical health checkups to mental health care helps find hidden diseases like heart problems, diabetes, or cancer in people with serious mental illness. About 2,800 adults in Denmark will get these checkups, and their results will be compared to those who receive usual care. The goal is to see if this approach leads to earlier detection and better management of physical illnesses.
