First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at whether low-impact group exercise classes, combined with standard dietitian and behavioral health visits, can lower pain scores in adults with knee, hip, or ankle osteoarthritis. About 10,000 participants aged 18 and older will attend classes three times a week for six months. Researchers will track pain using a simple 0-to-10 scale and also measure body mass index (BMI).
