Summary

This early-phase study tests a new treatment for people with recurrent high-grade brain tumors (astrocytomas). A specially designed virus carrying two 'suicide' genes is injected into the tumor cavity during surgery, followed by targeted radiation. The main goal is to find the safest dose and see if the treatment boosts the immune system against the cancer.
