Kidney disease linked to memory loss in major new study

Summary

This study follows 600 people with and without chronic kidney disease (CKD) for up to four years to see how memory, thinking, and daily activities change over time. Researchers will also look at risk factors for cognitive decline, including after starting dialysis or receiving a kidney transplant. The goal is to better understand the link between kidney health and brain function.
