Kidney disease linked to memory loss? major study seeks answers

Summary

This study follows 600 people with and without chronic kidney disease (CKD) for up to 4 years to compare how often memory loss, confusion, and daily activity problems occur. Researchers will also look for risk factors that may lead to thinking problems in CKD patients. Participants undergo annual memory tests, medical interviews, and some have brain MRIs to track changes over time.
