Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) during pacemaker or defibrillator implantation could lower patients' anxiety and pain. 100 adults having these heart procedures were randomly assigned to use VR or not. Researchers measured anxiety levels before and during the procedure to see if VR made a difference.
