Electric field device joins forces with cancer drugs in early trial

Summary
This early-phase study tests a wearable device that creates electric fields (tumor treating fields) combined with either cabozantinib or a chemo-immunotherapy pair (nab-paclitaxel and atezolizumab) in people with advanced solid tumors in the abdomen or chest. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the combination helps control cancer growth. About 43 adults whose cancer has spread or not responded to standard treatment will participate.
