Breakthrough trial aims to stop epilepsy before it starts in TSC babies

Summary
This study tests whether the drug sirolimus can prevent or delay the first seizure in infants with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). About 64 babies aged 0-6 months will receive either sirolimus or a placebo. The goal is to see if early treatment can stop epilepsy from developing and improve long-term brain development and quality of life.
