Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether semaglutide, a drug used for diabetes and weight loss, is safe and tolerable for people with advanced lung disease. Eight participants with conditions like COPD or pulmonary fibrosis will take the drug for 12 weeks. Researchers will monitor side effects, weight changes, and lung function to see if this approach is feasible.
