First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tested a new MRI contrast agent called RVP-001, which does not contain gadolinium, in 18 adults with brain lesions from conditions like tumors or multiple sclerosis. The goal was to see if it is safe and effective at highlighting these lesions compared to standard gadolinium-based dyes. Participants received one dose of RVP-001 and had their scans compared to earlier gadolinium-enhanced MRIs.
