Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called riluzole can help prevent the memory and thinking problems often called 'chemo brain' in people receiving chemotherapy for various cancers. About 24 adult patients will be randomly assigned to receive either riluzole or a placebo pill while undergoing their cancer treatment. Researchers will measure changes in brain chemicals and use memory tests and questionnaires to see if the drug helps protect cognitive function.
