Summary
This phase 3 trial is testing a once-weekly injection called enicepatide in 300 Chinese adults who are obese or overweight, with or without type 2 diabetes. The drug works by mimicking two gut hormones to reduce appetite and improve blood sugar control. Participants will receive either the drug or a placebo, along with diet and exercise advice, for 52 weeks to see how much weight they lose.
