Summary

This study looks at whether a community-based diet and exercise program for pregnant women can lower the chances of obesity and type 2 diabetes in both mothers and their children. About 1,000 pregnant women in urban areas will take part during and after pregnancy. The goal is to prevent excessive weight gain and improve health outcomes.
