NCT ID NCT06496971

First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a focused ultrasound device (NaviFUS) to the standard drug Avastin helps people with recurrent glioblastoma (a type of aggressive brain cancer) live longer without their cancer growing. About 32 adults whose cancer returned after standard treatment will be randomly assigned to get either Avastin alone or Avastin plus the ultrasound treatment. The goal is to see if the ultrasound helps more patients stay cancer-free at 6 and 12 months.
