Scientists map how knee pain changes your walk
NCT ID NCT05670236
Summary
This study aimed to understand how pain in one knee affects the forces on the other knee and the rest of the body during walking. Researchers compared 30 adults with painful knee arthritis to 25 healthy adults by having them walk on a treadmill under different conditions. People with arthritis walked both with their usual pain and after receiving a pain-numbing injection to see how movement changes.
