NCT ID NCT04975464

Summary

This study aims to understand why people with chronic kidney disease (CKD) often develop memory loss and thinking problems. Researchers are following 600 people, with and without CKD, for up to five years, tracking their cognitive function and taking brain scans. The goal is to identify the risk factors and brain changes linked to cognitive decline in CKD patients to help doctors spot those at risk earlier.
