Summary
This study aims to understand how much insulin the body actually needs to keep blood sugar normal. Ten adults with obesity and high insulin levels will take a drug called diazoxide for eight days to temporarily stop the pancreas from making insulin. Researchers will measure fasting blood sugar and insulin daily to see how the body responds.
