New tool aims to guide tough cancer treatment decisions for patients with autoimmune conditions
NCT ID NCT04751396
Summary
This study is testing an educational tool designed to help melanoma patients who also have autoimmune diseases (like rheumatoid arthritis or Crohn's disease) understand their treatment options with immune checkpoint inhibitor drugs. Researchers want to see if the tool is easy to use and helpful for patients and doctors when making treatment decisions. About 125 patients and their healthcare providers will try the tool and give feedback to improve it.
