First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study follows 1250 people at higher risk for pancreas cancer—such as those with new diabetes, pancreas cysts, or a family history—to find early warning signs in the blood. Participants visit Omaha twice a year to give blood samples. The goal is to develop a screening test that catches the cancer earlier, when treatment is more likely to work.
