Summary
This global study tests whether applying a sunlight-reflecting coating to roofs can lower indoor temperatures and improve health. Researchers will enroll 3,200 households in five hot cities across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Pacific. They will measure heart rate, blood sugar, depression, and other health outcomes, as well as indoor comfort and energy costs.
